The technical pre review meeting for the revision of the national standard GB/T8814 "Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) profiles for doors and windows" was held on October 13, 2015 at the Ziyu Hotel in Beijing.
Leaders from the Ministry of Construction and the China Plastics Standardization Committee, Director Yan Leiguang of the National Building Doors and Windows Association, Secretary General Wang Cunji of the China Plastics Association Profile and Doors and Windows Committee, Director Li Shengde of the National Chemical Building Materials Testing Center, and personnel from more than ten profile companies such as Conch, Shide, and Xiongfeng, as well as related industries, attended the meeting.
Chu Xianfeng, Chairman of Xiongfeng Group, sat on the main stage as one of the twelve evaluation experts. The conference aims to improve the quality of plastic profiles, standardize behavior, highlight the leading role of plastic profiles in building doors and windows, and revise the national standard GB/T 8814-2004 "Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) profiles for doors and windows".
